Sci fi novelist looking for artist

I am a sci fi novelist with 3 books in print. I want to turn one of my books into a comic book.
I need an artist who can make 7-10 pages for me. I have a few major publishers interested in publishing my work, but they need to see artwork first because they don't set up writer/artist pairs. There is no pay from me, but if it gets published, the publisher will probably offer compensation. Also, getting published is a bounty in an of itself.
