hello Ive bought Mr Weems' dvd (Gnomon) on inking and I sort of regret doing so. While you can watch a speed inking video (I would have preferred a slow inking one), the guy bla blas 90% of the time about this and that and gives very little info that could really be useful for a newbie. There are some pencils to download from this forum and I would like to ask the pros to help out with a better yet simple tutorial: post the pencil and then your inked version. A beginner artist could see how a pro deals with an area, how he/she does the linking, etc. Even such comparisons could teach more than hearing how you started and how many hours per day you work, Mr Weems... Thanks for considering! Mon

Check out Tom Nguyen's video. There is alot of goofy side stuff but he does do some slower detail sequences. Also find John Glapion on facebook & sign up for his video presentations that he does live while working.

You could watch any number of a number of artists inking on Ustream live. I myself do a live artcast most Thursdays. I'm drawing inking and painting Sketch Cards mostly. I just did a FF Variant Sketch Cover you can watch here. www.ustream.tv/channel/bleeding-ink. Check around the listings for other artists who also do live drawings.
