I am illustrator who decided to try in the field of inking. I have some experience in inking illustrations and when I tried with sequential comics I encountered the problem of speed. If I am to answer the demands of industry I probably must be able to ink like one page a day . I find it to be quite hard; I somehow managed to ink one page in a very extensive day and I would probably burn out in 3-4 consecutive days of such a work. I ink with markers (0,5.. 0,2 ..0,1.. 0,03 .. and big marker for large areas). You can see some of my works here; skillman.deviantart.com/gallery/#comic-book-illustration Could you please suggest WHAT ARE THE BASIC ISSUES IN GETTING SPEED IN INKING (that some inkers can ink 2-3 pages a day is beyond my comprehension ....also, in some tutorials I've seen nobody seams to hurry too much)

The inks you are doing look typical of Marker work. For some guys they work & work fast, but I find that if used for the wrong things they will slow you down. Start working with a brush & Crow Quill pens. the learning curve is longer, but the eventual returns on quality are great. If you are in a rush, you will do poor quality work & will then not get work. Its better to be slow & do good work initially than it is to do fast bad work. I typically work 14hr days 6-7 days a week & do 1 1/2 to 3 pages a day.
