Thanks as usual for posting the links. I'll be starting on at least one of these this week. I just don't know which one.

I'd be curious to see how you do on the Grindberg as I inked him quite a bit in the '90s. He's gives enough info but certainly leaves enough open to elaborate.

I have some low res scans, but no good high res. If I run across them in a backup file, or if my wife is setting them up for sale I'll rescan them. I lost a ton of my stuff from that period when both my computers crashed within a week of each other. It was fun to do stuff with Tom, but it was a severely rush gig. Something on the order of 3 a day. Jay

I think I'm going to put together something similar to what Scott Williams did for SD this year. 10 or so different guys with me doing inks on all of them, as a supplement to an otherwise normal sketchbook. It's a cool little experiment.

Its week 3 and theres 2 more pages on the server. A Ken Lashley & a Greg Tocchini. Tom Parrish has already turned in a scan of the Lashley, & with his permission I will be doing a full critique over at my site. Follow this link to get to the files: jayleisten.squarespace.com/samples-to-dload/

Jay
I am really digging the scans. I really need to get these over to Kinko's to be printed so I can get to inking them!
I have a couple of questions since I don't understand all of the penciller shorthand.
What is the "checkered" pattern on the guys shirt by Choi? Is it supposed to be energy? Edge of a shadow?
What does "BWS" stand for (I keep thinking Barry Windsor-Smith)?
Thanks again for the really cool artwork!

The Checkered pattern is just texture if I remember correctly. Barry Winsor Smith ( I thought that too the first time I saw it) is Blacks with Stars. Hope that helps.
