Hello, I'm not 100% sure I'm posting in the right section... As many of you, I'm an inker in learning and I would love to work for comic book publishers. That's why I'm doing submission files I send to them. I know I need to show pencilled and inked pages to compare and at least 4 consecutive pages for each different sample. Well, here is the file I would send - but before that, could I have your thoughts about it? nailstudio.free.fr/submission/submission.pdf(27 Mo, but don't worry I'll send the file by regular mail to publishers, not email) Is it too long? Should I stick to 2 artists? Less pages? Thank you by advance for your help and for sharing your experience!

This is something you would do in Artist Alley.
I did crit's there for you. I like your style, but most editors usually request 4 or 5 pages of sequentials to see your consistency and quality of inking.
That said, you would not use Top Cow or DC characters when showing a DC Editor what you can do. They like to see how you would handle their own Characters.
DC see's these at shows, and most companies will supply you with Pencils on their submission pages.
They also request signed submission forms, photocopies, etc.
I will see if I can get a listing for you, and post it as a sticky in Artist alley this week.
Best,
Jimmy T

Thanks for your feedback - and sorry for posting in the wrong place. Unfortunately for me, I won't be able to attent to any comic book convention in the next few months: I live in France. On the other hand, it's not like I was confident enough to be sure DC Comics would hire me as first paid job! I'll try to focus on characters when I contact editors (even if I may not have a lot of pages to show to Avatar for example, in this case).
